After our big move from Austin to Houston, I noticed my coffee maker wasn't working properly. It only put out luke warm coffee. I thought maybe it got knocked around too much during the move. I was too busy with the kids and the unpacking to rush out and get a new one right away so I just microwaved my cup of Joe every morning. Two weeks later as I was placing my filter in the machine, I noticed a thin piece of long plastic coming out of the hot water disk under the lid of the Gevalia. I pulled it and it wasn't plastic. Out came a very large and very dead Houston cockroach.
